Why India? ( Prologue of the Series )

People A : "GO INDIA AH? WHY? SO NOT SAFE!! 18 DAYS SUMMORE!? INDIA WHERE GOT GOOD OH. SO DANGEROUS. DON'T WANT LAR."

Aunty B : "EH, GO TAIWAN BETTER. INDIA VERY UNDEVELOPED YOU KNOW."

And so many opinions ( negative thoughts ) about India. But, they are wrong. In fact, India is such a wonderful place that I would to go there again.

It all started when we're hanging in McDonalds, bollocking how boring our gap year is and we didn't fulfill our promises we made back in Form Six, so the idea of going backpacking surfaced. First, we voiced out possible location. Bali and Thailand was put on the table ( We do have money issues ), but since we wanted an adventure, India surfaced. It is one of the spiritual places in the entire world ( Hinduism and Buddhism begins in here, maybe Islam too ), and it is well, sad to put it, not so developed, why not?

The plan was put forward. The original team consists of LC, WC, Ivan and me, since we're the ones who's been hanging around. We spread the news to others and set up a page in Facebook under the name Backpacking to India. Everything is finalised. The team consists of The Leader - Long Choy, The Camera Man - Benjamin, The Financial Advisor - ST, The Big Hearted Afro - Ivan and me, pretty much The Voice and The Joker - Wen Chiang.

Oh well, things isn't going the smooth you see. WC cannot join in the fun due to personal reasons and so we have to left him back in Malaysia which prompted us to do the picture of the decade "Wish You Were Here' which I'll posting on the relevant post. So, five boys head on east? and fly to the heart of culture, India.
