Stranded in India ( Act 1 of the Series ) Let's cut all the chase. We went to LCCT, board on a plane, and sat in it for 5 hours and voila! there goes! The first thing we saw, very welcoming.
And then this. Awesome. And so, we get our passport chopped. Get our luggage and fucking dash out from the airport. The first thing I bought, Coke. And it tastes like Malaysia ones. Sugar alerts! We kinda lost of finding a metro but we still get it together and find our way. But once we got from the airport, you can feel the heat, literally. Like a huge hot waves just bestowed on you. We bought the tickets, they gave us the token thing instead of card and we are not allowed to take pictures either. The airport metro ( KLIA counterpart ) is much better than we thought. It is clean, air-conded and nice. We was so blow away by the advancement of the metro, is even better than ours. But hell, we didn't know what we are facing later on. Don't miss LC 'Vogue' So we got out from the metro to the local metro line. And we had our first culture shock. First, after buying your tickets, you have to line up to get checked by security before you move in into the metro and the queue is so long and is hot, no air conditioning , nothing. And we have to wait in line with our heavy backpack, trust me, it isn't pleasant. BANG. The streets is so dark, there is like rubbish everywhere and there is like people sleeping on the streets. I mean, that is something you don't see everyday in Malaysia. I clenched my hand tightly over the rickshaw. Yes, we were scared, hopeless and freaked out. And then, the rickshaw stopped, pointing us to a small alley. It was pretty dark back then, so we werem't sure what it is, we are like where are we? what the fuck. The cycle rickshaw man kept telling us go in but we weren't convinced, there is this man coming up asking us to go in and offered Rs 400 for help, but we said is fine and get together and march in. Thank god we saw the sign. We went in, met a couple from England. There is actually two hostels named Smyle Inn, but we booked wrongly and there is no room left, so we forced to stay in My Inn. Rs 2ooo for two rooms per night. Since it was late and we need a place to crush in, we took the offer and stayed there.
You can see how fucked up we are.
